Connect, empower, and educate career-minded LGBTQ+ individuals and businesses. By hosting mixers, talks and community outreach programs, Letter People seeks to create and nurture business growth, mentorship opportunities, and interpersonal connections.
We understand that a lot can happen in 31 days. Leave your email with us and we will send you a short reminder about our events each month.
On the first Thursday of every month Letter People meet at Brew Coffee and Beer in Santa Rosa to network, set goals, and engage in your community. Once a month (exact days TBD) there is also a Letter People lunch that travels around to different LGBTQ+ operated or locally owned restaurants.
Adventures help our group create strong interpersonal relationships and well, they are also just a good time. Past adventures included a “ValentSkate Night” at CalSkate in Rohnert Park, GLBT Historical Society in SF, Hikes around the North Bay and showing our support at various Pride celebrations.
As Letter People grows, we hope to expand our mentorship program. We envision the mentorship program as a means of creating cross-generational connections in the North Bay queer community, and as a tool for empowering and educating the next generation of Letter Leaders.
Lean how to excel in the professional landscape by becoming a Mentee. Gain knowledge in various areas includin finance, entrepreneurship and business leaders.
With the expansion of Letter People’s educational program, we hope to eventually host workshops and lectures on topics ranging from adoption rights to financial literacy, and other areas of interest to our group members
